Note: You can create an individual address book only when the
individual contacts tab is selected and you can create an organization address
book only when the organization contacts tab is selected.
Three ways to create a new address book:
- Click the toolbar icon -->

- Click the menu "Books" then click
either "New Individual Book..." OR "New
Organization Book..." depending on the tab that is selected.
- Right click the contact tree view
and click on either "New Individual Book..." OR "New
Organization Book..." depending on the the tab that is selected.
When creating a new address book you must provide a name for the
address book. An address book can
have the same name as another address book as long as the type of contacts
it stores is different.

- Right click the address book to
rename and click "Rename Selected Book..."

How to delete an address book

Four ways to delete an address book:
- Click the toolbar icon -->

- Click the menu "Books" then click
"Delete Selected Book(s)..."
- Right click the address book(s) to
delete
and click "Delete Selected Book(s)..."
- Select the address book(s) to
delete and press the "delete" key
When you delete an address book you delete the address book and all of it's
contacts. A contact deleted from one address book will remain in
any other address books it belongs to. For example, if a contact
were in two Address Books, "Co-Workers" and "Friends" and the "Friends"
address book was deleted, the contact would remain in the "Co-Workers"
address book.
Note: Multiple address books can be deleted at one time.
